This year as well, the event was a great success with about 20 volunteer coaches who came to support 50 participants!
Organized by WIDE with the support of Digital Luxembourg, Rails Girls Luxembourg gave participants the opportunity to learn how to create websites and applications. Nizar Ayed, a volunteer coach for the event, helped the participants to better understand the day’s theme and explained to them the history of coding.
Also, Guillaume Desrat, coach from the beginning at Rails Girls Luxembourg, presented the RoR (Ruby on Rails) tool by drawing a parallel between programming and culinary recipe.
In addition to the Ruby workshop, participants had the opportunity to attend the inspiring presentations of two coaches who created their startup:
– Gaëlle Haag came to present her startup “Startalers“, an application to help women take charge of their financial future with simplicity and a positive social impact.
– Aurélien Dobbels, a former participant in the Bootcamp “Le Wagon“, came to present his website dedicated to co-living.
A big thanks to all our participants and coaches!!!
