Erasmus + E-Skills Training in Moldova

First time in Moldova for WIDE !

On May 6 2017 we were excited to take part in the “E-skills for impact” training course in collaboration with Invento, a Moldovan NGO. During a week, a group of youth workers from different NGOs around Europe met in Chisinau, Moldova.

17 youth workers from Greece, Bosnia, Poland, Italy, the Netherlands and Luxembourg attended. For many it was a chance to discover Moldova a country where many young people are looking toward Europe.

Digital is now playing a central part on how organisation involved in youth work can communicate and make a stronger impact inside and outside their communities. In the meantime as many young people and youth workers use online tools everyday, often they lack of skills and methods to use them in a working context.

The Erasmus + training that aims to give the participants a set of E tools to excel at online management and communication with stakeholders, volunteers, and mass media . It also focus on practical tools: access to new programs using different web platforms and digital communication strategies planning.

We kicked of the training with a reflection on key challenges of each organisation regarding communication, project management and innovation. Throughout the week, we learned about digital communication, crowdfunding campaigns, tools for design. As part of the training we had the chance to attend the Rockit, a major innovation conference in Moldova, where we took part in numerous workshops and conferences about digital, technology and innovation.

The training was a success and the group dynamic was at it’s best. We came back with many ideas to implement in our own organisation before our next mobility in Thessaloniki, in September 2017.
