On June 26th and 27th, our team was present at Nexus2050 as an institutional partner.
This new tech event and international hub offers networking opportunities for corporates, institutions and start-ups. For this first edition, the event tackled the themes of artificial intelligence, sustainability, cybersecurity, financial technology and development.
We were delighted to contribute to this important event by organising 2 panel discussions
Marina Andrieu, our Director, hosted these two mini-events talking about, “Women and Tech” and “Financing women entrepreneurs”, alongside our various guest speakers, who shared experiences about the representation of women in start-ups and finance in Luxembourg.
Thanks to Véronique ZILIOTTO, Ayumi MOORE AOKI, Ouma SANI, Lisa-Marie FASSL and Stefania QUAIRI for their inspiring contributions. For this occasion, the Women in Tech Luxembourg Chapter was launched and our future collaboration announced.
At our booth, we were also able to present the services of our Impact Web Studio. We’ve had the opportunity to meet a wide variety of people and companies, giving us the chance to talk about our activities, find potential volunteers for our events and grow our community.
Finally, we were happy to partner with IMS Luxembourg which organised the 4th edition of the Digital Skills Matchmaking, a speed meeting between 26 companies and 23 digital project organisations in Luxembourg with the support of the Ministry of state (Innovative Initiatives). This event, entirely dedicated to the creation of win-win partnerships and the promotion of exchanges, to support projects through volunteering, skills sponsorship, equipment donations… was a big success. This year, 32 new partnerships were formed!
This first edition of Nexus 2050 has been a fruitful and rewarding one for WIDE ANDCO. As well as meeting new people, we were able to create new partnerships, highlight our projects and our impact, and above all introduce new project leaders to our services!
A big thank you to the organisers for the opportunity to contribute to the event, see you next year!
