Following WIDE’s involvement in the Erasmus+ project, Gender4STEM, we were pleased to be able to continue our effort regarding the improvement of Gender Fairness in teaching for the remaining of 2020 and 2021 with our partner, the LIST (The Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology).
We would also like to thank the FNR (Luxembourg National Research Fund with its PSP programme), Digital Luxembourg – Service des médias, des communications et du numérique, the SCRIPT (Service de Coordination de la Recherche et de l’Innovation Pédagogiques et Technologiques) and the IFEN (Institut de Formation de l’Éducation Nationale) for their support in the realisation of this project.
With Gender4STEM in Action, we aim to implement new actions in favour of guiding girls towards STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) through the teaching staff.
Women and girls do belong in those fields!
Following the completion of the project, we edited a brochure containing good practices to promote equality in STEM education. They have been distributed in High schools all over Luxembourg. You can read it here, it’s available in English, French and Luxembourgish.
